Profile and Company History
In 1956, DWC Mailing Systems, (originally known as Don Wilson Company) was founded by its original owner, Don Wilson, as a sales and service center in the West Coast region for Better Packages carton sealing systems. The company grew and took on the distribution of the Triner Scale line of postal and shipping scales which were sold to end users as well as to the United States Postal Service.
In 1980, a Swiss based manufacture of postage meters and mailing systems, Hasler, was granted distribution access to the United States marketplace. Hasler had been a major distributor of postage systems in the Swiss marketplace since 1922. Hasler needed distribution points across the United States and in October of 1980, DWC Mailing Systems was set-up as one of three original distribution centers in the United States for Hasler products.
DWC Mailing Systems has been continually awarded honors from both Better Packages as well as Hasler Inc. for our sales and customer service efforts over the past 5 decades. We have also been recognized as an “Elite Dealer” from Office Systems magazine in the years 2002, 2004 and 2006. In 2005 we were recognized as a “Circle of Excellence” award winner from the same office publication.
We maintain a sales, service and showroom facility in the Downtown Los Angeles area and the current ownership group of 4 individuals has collectively over 88 years of tenure with DWC Mailing Systems.

We will back our products with the very best customer service available within our industry. We will further support our efforts with a code of ethics and professional integrity, which will never be overlooked in the interest of company profits and/or personal gains. We will continue to grow our company, establish positive relationships with our vendor partners and always retain the premise that the customer is our number one priority.
